Sadly we now know Hunton closed its factory doors at the end of 2016 and the workforce have been made redundant.

At Martin Payne Marine it’s business as usual with our Brokerage sales and we wait like everyone else to see if the Hunton Brand is resurrected.

Why Hunton could not achieve enough new sales to survive will be debated and debated I’m sure, but one thing I can say with confidence is that Jeff Hunton’s timeless designs and respected build quality will live on in his boats!
